Did I Almost Get Abducted by Aliens in Nashville?

Alien UFOs

It was Saturday night in Nashville, April 12, 2025—9:33 PM to be exact—when something downright eerie happened. Riding in an Uber from Nashville International Airport (BNA), I glanced out the window and felt a wave of panic. Hovering in the night sky was what looked like a giant UFO—complete with synchronized lights, a slow spin, and what looked suspiciously like a green tractor beam beaming down over Broadway.

For a brief (and glorious?) moment, I thought, “This is it. I'm finally getting abducted.”

My wife, always the level-headed one, calmly explained it was likely just a drone light show. Sure, a “mass flight of drones” mimicking a UFO sounds like a reasonable explanation. But come on—I run AlienLife.net, and if anyone knows a real UFO when they see one, it’s me. Right?

I snapped a photo, though it came out blurry and distant—typical. When I searched later for an explanation—an official drone show, holographic display, anything—I found nothing. No permits. No press releases. Just... silence.

That is, until a few days later, when Jared Guynes posted this jaw-dropping video to Instagram, capturing what appears to be the same UFO I saw hovering over downtown Nashville.

Was it a massive drone stunt? A hologram experiment? Or was it... something else?
